Online Courses

Gone are the days when reading and learning were limited to a select few. With the advent of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), anyone with an internet connection is welcome to the brilliant world of Math.

The following are a few awesome sites which I often refer to, be it for learning something new or for supplementing my college course.

  1. edX
  2. Coursera
  3. MIT OpenCourseWare (Helps me pass in Physics!)
  4. Udacity (Udacity concentrates on courses related to Computer Science only)
  5. FutureLearn (Lots of general topics)
  6. Microsoft Virtual Academy (Computer Science, obviously)

I have learnt Python, Java, R, HTML, CSS & JavaScript, Differential Equations, Graph Theory, bits and pieces of Data Science, C, MATLAB and various other stuff from these sites.

And by the way, do you want to learn some of the more popular languages of the world? Why don’t you visit Duolingo? According to them, I’m 26% fluent in French and I think c’est génial!
